A  Comedy

Two sisters are known far and wide as friendly, charitable, and a little eccentric. This is understandable because it is also known that they are witches. At least, that's the story, especially the one spread by their housekeeper just before she vanished without a trace. It's a heady brew of twists and turns, where closets fly open and even the house itself seems alive in this family comedy.

Season Schedule

A Farm Farce
Funeral preparations are being made for the patriarch of the Meinhardt farm dynasty, and a tense family reunion is sure to blow in like a Kansas storm. Especially when the fate of the land is in the hands of Grandma, who is tougher than a bull, snappier than ginger, and hiding something behind every door in her kitchen. A modern farm farce that hits way too close to home, directly onto your funny bone, and into your heart.

2026 Summer Repertoire

In the end, they realize that the answer was right in front of them all along... the Conjunction Junction Diner is open for business!

A Murder Mystery Spoof

Come to the party…stay if you dare. The classic 50's Vincent Price Horror film becomes a campy stage comedy in this adaptation. An eccentric millionaire promises six guests a mysterious prize if they can survive the night at the only truly haunted house in the world. Everyone invited has a few skeletons in their closets though, and screwball scares lurk around every corner. Join us at the House on Haunted Hill - it’ll be a scream.

A Dramatic Comedy
This crowd favorite returns by popular demand to the Brownville stage. All the ladies who are “anybody” in Chinquapin, Louisiana come to Truvy’s beauty salon to have their hair done. Helped by her eager new assistant, Annelle, the outspoken, wise-cracking Truvy dispenses shampoo and free advice to the town’s rich curmudgeon, Ouiser; an eccentric millionaire, Miss Clairee; and the local social leader, M’Lynn, whose daughter, Shelby, is about to get married. The women draw together to find humor, strength, and love – even in the wake of tragedy.

“Steel Magnolias” is presented by arrangement with Concord Theatricals on behalf of Samuel French, Inc. www.concordtheatricals.com
